ABOUT / PLANCK DYNAMICS
Planck Dynamics builds Photonic AI for the tactical edge. It is a ruggedized platform that captures heterogeneous sensor data, verifies it, runs AI applications on a photonic reservoir compute core at microsecond latency inside the vehicle, and shares insight across a tactical network without ever leaving the unit.
Units at the tactical edge consistently decide first and are last to be seen, because the AI at their fingertips is sovereign, defensible under audit, and built for the operator's judgement rather than against it.
PURPOSE
So those defending at the tip of the spear have a sustained, asymmetrical advantage.
Modern militaries want an asymmetric intelligence advantage, but the data that produces it arrives late, arrives messy, or never arrives at all. Dutch and NATO staff have named the same blocking constraint on fielded tactical AI: the heat and power that GPUs demand. That is the exact gap photonic compute was built to fill. Photonic AI was built to process vast information much faster than GPU's, scoring up to 100x faster than current edge GPU processors.
Planck Dynamics was founded in the Delft deep-tech ecosystem, drawing on TU Delft's House of Quantum, and QDNL, to build a sovereign European platform that closes the data-to-decision gap at the edge rather than in a rear data centre. The next war will be decided by who can use data the best. We build for the people who have to decide at the tip of the spear.
Decades combined across defense, AI, full-stack engineering, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing. Built by operators who speak Defense and engineers who ship hardware.
